Great unit which can handle a hit or two as a ranged unit. If a hero approaches or is CCd, press 2 to fire 3 quick bursts at them and they are gone
TBH, I would say this is a meta line, as it seems to be much better than top line. Basically bottom line rate of fire nodes affect their range state too, and yeah, you can only imagine how fast they fire then, plus you get more defenses with them on bottom line! Their doctrines don't really need much to be honest. I invested in a defense doctrine V just to help them out a bit more in defenses, but it seems like their damage is already good, however accuracy is recommended because they miss their shots a bit more now on bottom line. Fusillade doctrine is a must for obvious reasons, siege fighter and unit damage doctrine could be replaced with LDS for instance, or more defenses.

The unit lays down a heavy fire, necessitating a pause to let their weapons cool down. During this time it defaults to using melee weapons.
