Cheap spear unit that will be absorbing mostly ranged, don't expect it to stand up to melee that well, but if you have a good, coordinated team, Spear Militia can push into many high tiered ranged units and serve to intimidate the enemy with how well you play them. The reason they're bottom line is because of their mastery and style of play, they're only good against ranged and do well with Advance while keeping formation buffs, their block is going to be a one-time use (especially with their low recovery rate) before the damage really starts getting to them (which they'll be at ranged mostly when their block gets broken, hence 15% ranged damage reduction).

Increases all defences by 130 points. Reduces damage taken by 6%.
