Don't expect anything out of them, if you bring them for some reason. Just send them in and see if they deal some damage or serve as a distraction/time buyer, don't go for charge line cause they'll all just gather up and die instantly, best to hit V and let them die one by one slowly. Invest the low tier doctrines in them. (In all honesty, if you bring them for siege engines, why didn't you just bring Serfs or Marts?)

Increases health by 440 points. Increases piercing defence by 125 points.

Increases health by 440 points. Increases all defences by 40 points.
Iron Health Doctrine V
Increases health by 300 points. Unlocks Ironsides: increases piercing, slashing, and blunt defence by 175 points for 12 seconds.
Rare Life Doctrine
Increases health by 300.
